About Women Marof Saffron Agricultural & Livestock Company (WMS)
Women Marof Saffron Agricultural & Livestock Company (WMS.ALC) was established in 2020 and is officially registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan (License No. 69249). Led by Ms. Adela Yama and a professional team with deep experience in saffron cultivation, processing and agricultural production, WMS.ALC operates in both national and international markets.
WMS.ALC manages over 150 acres of saffron fields in Zindajan district (Herat) and operates 300+ beehives, producing premium natural honey. The company uses advanced mechanized agricultural equipment and modern processing facilities to ensure high-quality production, processing and packaging in accordance with international standards.
Our permanent team includes 8 female and 4 male staff, and WMS.ALC creates seasonal employment for approximately 400 workers—about 80% of whom are women—contributing to women’s economic empowerment and community development in the region.
